The Klondike Derby was a fun weekend using Scout skills and handmade sleds built by Scouts. The Klondike Derby is an annual camping trip that most patrols participate in and try to win the Klondike Silver Sled trophy. The Klondike derby is a test of physical and mental toughness, endurance, and strength. As well as a test of each patrol's trust, friendship, scout spirit and team skills.
-Cody The Spring - Winter court of honor was long overdue. However there was lots of awards handed out and I felt very proud of the troop I am a part of here. We divided up what is usually one big group into a total of 6 mini Court of Honors to practice social distancing and to inform everyone safely about the awards we have earned. It was different, but still fun and amazing. The Scouts in the senior patrol who planned it, made it work very well.
-Cody The February PLC was very productive we got a lot planned for the next few months. We are working on ways to boost our attendance. Over all we all agreed with each other and got what we think our patrols would want to do in the next few up coming months. Some of the things we planned were the 2 upcoming camping trips, some meeting plans, and some other important dates.
