This weekend we went on our annual Klondike trip where the patrols built sleds and worked together to get points on stations about scout skills such as fire building, orienteering, and knot tying. This year, our troop ran the slalom and semaphore stations. After a full day of fun stations with the patrols making lunch in the middle, the day ended with a delicious dinner followed by an egg drop contest and the announcement of the winning patrol. This year our Lumberjacks patrol got the record time for the two man saw station, and our very own Penguins patrol were the winners of the entire competition in addition to winning multiple of the individual stations. This was an amazing and fun packed trip and we look forward to it again next year.
